Select any text on any page and right-click → 'Add to Specky'. Tag it as Competitive Intel, Customer Feedback, Market Research, or Hiring Intel.

Load the real extension into Chrome.
The extension is a working Manifest V3 build today. Open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and select the chrome-extension/ folder from the repository. Then create a workspace API key in Settings → Developer and paste it into the extension popup.

- How do I install it?
- Use Chrome or another Chromium browser, open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, click Load unpacked, and select the chrome-extension directory. The full setup guide includes the API-key connection step and the local-development endpoint override.
- Which browsers will be supported?
- Chrome and any Chromium-based browser (Arc, Brave, Edge, Vivaldi). A Firefox port is on the roadmap once we have demand from non-Chromium teams.
- Is the Chrome Web Store listing live?
- Not yet. The extension itself is usable today through Chrome's developer-mode install. Publishing is a distribution step; it does not block the working capture flow.
- What data leaves my browser?
- Only the text you select and the page URL — sent over HTTPS to your own Specky workspace. Nothing is captured passively, no telemetry, no third parties. The extension never reads pages you haven't explicitly asked it to capture.
