Connect fonio to Specky
AI phone agents — ingest call transcripts, and call customers back.
fonio pushes to Specky in real time
fonio has no history API, so nothing is polled — fonio calls Specky the moment something happens, and it lands in your product graph immediately. The trade-off is that there is no backfill: anything that happened before you connected it cannot be pulled in afterwards, so it's worth connecting before the conversations you care about.
Connecting fonio
The short version. The setup guide has the full walkthrough, with every field and screen named.
- 1
Go to app.fonio.ai/api-keys and create a workspace API key
- 2
Paste it above. If you want Specky to place calls too, also enter one of your fonio numbers in international format (+4312345678)
- 3
Open the assistant in fonio → Integrations → add an HTTP Request integration
- 4
Set When it runs to After the call
- 5
Point it at the webhook URL shown on the fonio card in Settings → Integrations, and add the signing secret as an x-specky-webhook-secret header
What you'll need
Workspace API KeyRequired
Create one at app.fonio.ai → API keys.
Outbound Number (optional)Optional
One of your fonio numbers, in international format. Only needed if you want Specky to place outbound calls — leave blank to just ingest call transcripts.
Turn fonio into product evidence
Everything from fonio becomes searchable evidence, not another inbox
Recurring themes surface on their own instead of waiting to be noticed
PRDs and decisions cite the actual customer, with a link back to the source
Ask the AI chat what customers say about a feature and get an answer grounded in fonio
Before you connect it
What does Specky do with my fonio data?
It becomes part of your product graph: searchable, clustered with related feedback from your other tools, and quotable in PRDs and decisions. It is never used to train AI models, and it stays in your workspace.
Will Specky import my existing fonio history?
No — and this is worth knowing before you start. fonio doesn't offer an API that lets Specky ask what happened in the past, so data only arrives from the moment you finish connecting it. Set it up before the conversations you want captured, not after.
What do I need to connect fonio?
Workspace API Key — all of it from your own fonio account. The full walkthrough is in the setup guide.
How long does it take to set up?
A few minutes. You create a credential in fonio, paste it into Specky, and you're connected, plus one step to point fonio's webhook at Specky. Step-by-step instructions are in the setup guide.
Can I disconnect fonio later?
Yes, from Settings → Integrations, at any time. Disconnecting removes the connection and the data it brought in.
Do I need to be on a paid plan?
Every plan can connect integrations; the number you can run at once depends on your plan, and a few providers are limited to Scale. Settings → Usage shows where you stand.
Can Specky place outbound calls through fonio?
Yes. Once connected with a workspace API key (and optionally an outbound number), Specky can trigger fonio to call a customer — useful when a signal needs a follow-up conversation, not just another ticket.
Bring fonio into your product graph
Connect it in a few minutes, then let Specky do the reading.
