Specky can connect to ChatGPT through the remote MCP endpoint https://www.specky.space/api/mcp. Private testing and OAuth authorization are available now; public ChatGPT App Directory placement is a separate OpenAI review step.

Setup
Connect ChatGPT to Specky
Follow the provider-specific path below. The exact menu names and availability can change as each provider evolves its MCP and directory programs.

Open the remote MCP connection flow
In the ChatGPT developer or connected-app surface available to your account, add a remote MCP server and use Specky’s canonical endpoint.

Authorize one workspace
ChatGPT discovers Specky’s OAuth metadata, opens the Specky consent page, and returns with a grant scoped to the workspace you select.

Start with an evidence question
Ask Specky to find the evidence behind a customer problem, group the signals, or draft a PRD. Keep write actions behind your normal review step.

Submit the public listing separately
An App Directory listing needs its own OpenAI metadata, domain challenge, test cases, demo recording, and review submission. A successful private connection is not an approval claim.

Use one bounded, read-first prompt so you can inspect the returned evidence and confirm the workspace boundary:
Find the strongest evidence behind this customer problem, show the sources and unknowns, and draft a problem statement. Do not create tickets or change records until I approve the draft.

Is Specky already listed in the ChatGPT App Directory?+
Not necessarily. Specky’s remote MCP endpoint can be tested privately, while public App Directory distribution requires a separate OpenAI submission and review.
What can ChatGPT do with Specky?+
It can search connected product evidence, read workspace context, draft documents and insights, and stage product work when the authorized workspace and enabled tools allow it.
Does ChatGPT receive all Specky workspace data?+
No. The OAuth grant is scoped to one workspace and the client only receives data returned by the tools it calls. Start with the least-privileged tool set that answers the question.
