From signal to understanding

Customer Signals is most useful when it helps you make one real decision.

Start with the customer’s words, find the repeated pattern, then decide what deserves attention.

Try saying

“Find the repeated problem in these signals and show me the quotes that support it.”

Bring the signal

Connect a source or paste a sample.

Find the pattern

Group the words people keep repeating.

Make it useful

Turn the pattern into a question or opportunity.

Customer Signals

What this is for

Keep the customer present when choosing what to build, fix, or explain.

When this helps

  • Customer evidence is distributed across support, sales, success, and analytics.
  • Teams quote one loud customer as if it represents the market.
  • Call insights disappear after the meeting.

How it works

Customer Signals aggregates supported customer-facing sources and surfaces the original language, trend changes, and extracted actions. It helps you compare volume and context rather than relying on anecdotes.

Before you start

  • Connected Slack, Gong, support, NPS, or usage sources.
  • A customer segment, feature area, or time range.
  • Optional filters for sentiment, source, or urgency.

What you should see

  • A consolidated customer-signal view.
  • Trend alerts and representative quotes.
  • Actions that can become research, product work, or follow-up.

Try it now

  1. Open Customer Signals and select the source or segment you want to understand.
  2. Start with the trend or alert, then open the underlying customer evidence.
  3. Compare repeated signals with outliers before drawing a conclusion.
  4. Send the strongest theme to Discovery, Inbox, or a PRD.

A real example

Sales calls suggest an enterprise export is urgent, but support messages show that invite failures affect many more users. Comparing both sources changes the priority conversation from one deal to the broader customer problem.

Your next move

Connect the relevant source in Integrations Overview, then use Insights Dashboard.
