Generating Your First PRD

Opening the PRD Editor

From the sidebar, click PRD Editor

Click New Document

Enter a feature name or paste a brief description

Using AI generation

Click Generate with AI and Specky will:

Pull relevant signals from your connected integrations

Draft a structured PRD with goals, requirements, and success metrics

Cite the evidence it used (Slack threads, Jira tickets, etc.)

Editing and refining

Use the block editor to add, remove, or reorder sections

Click any AI-generated sentence to see its source evidence

Use the AI chat sidebar to ask follow-up questions

Exporting

Export your PRD as Markdown, PDF, or push it directly to Notion or Confluence.
