Microsoft Planner Integration
What this connection is for
Bring Microsoft Planner tasks into product context, then send approved work back to the plan.
How your data reaches Specky
Specky pulls from Microsoft Planner on a schedule. A sync runs when you open your workspace if the data is stale, and you can also start one by hand from the integration card.
Setup
Open Settings → Integrations, find Microsoft Planner, and click Connect. You will be sent to Microsoft Planner to approve access; Specky never sees your password.
- Go to Settings → Integrations and click Connect beside Microsoft Planner.
- Approve Microsoft OAuth. Specky requests the least-privilege Planner and group permissions needed to read your tasks and create tasks in plans you can access.
Data synced
- Tasks assigned to you, including due dates, progress, priority, labels, and descriptions
- Plan and bucket identifiers so evidence can be traced back to delivery
Planner's Microsoft Graph API currently exposes basic plans and tasks. Premium Planner plans are not included in this connector.
After connecting
New Microsoft Planner items appear in Discovery alongside your other sources. You can search them, ask questions about them, and cite them in product work without opening another tab.
Disconnecting Microsoft Planner removes the connection and the signals it brought in.
Troubleshooting
- Connected, but nothing appears. Open the Microsoft Planner card and run a sync by hand. If it errors, the card shows the reason.
- "Upgrade to connect". Your plan caps how many integrations you can connect at once, and a few providers are Scale-only. Settings → Usage shows where you stand.
- Credentials stopped working. Tokens expire and get revoked. Reconnect with a fresh one — your existing signals are kept.
See the Microsoft Planner integration page for what it's for and the questions people usually ask first, or the Integrations Overview for how integrations work in general.
