Integrations Overview
What integrations do
Integrations are the data foundation of Specky. They connect your existing tools — where your team already communicates, tracks work, and talks to customers — and pull that data into Specky so it can be analyzed, searched, and used to ground AI-generated content.
Without integrations, Specky is a powerful document editor. With integrations, it becomes a living intelligence layer on top of your entire product operation.
Available integrations
| Integration | Category | What it syncs |
| ------------- | ---------- | --------------- |
| Slack | Messaging | Channel messages, threads, reactions |
| Jira | Project management | Issues, epics, comments, status changes |
| GitHub | Engineering | PRs, issues, commit messages |
| Gong | Sales / Customer Success | Call transcripts, summaries, speaker quotes |
| Linear | Project management | Issues, projects, comments |
| Google Workspace | Documents | Drive files, Google Docs content |
How integrations work
All integrations use OAuth 2.0 for authorization — Specky never stores your passwords. The flow is:
Authorize — you click Connect and approve Specky's access in the tool's OAuth screen
Configure — you choose which channels, projects, repos, or folders to sync
Initial index — Specky indexes your historical data (up to 90 days back)
Ongoing sync — new data syncs in near real-time (every 5 minutes for most integrations)Data security
All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3)
Specky only reads the data you explicitly authorize — it never writes to your source tools except via the Execution Bridge (which you explicitly trigger)
Your data is never used to train AI models
You can disconnect any integration and delete its synced data at any time from Settings → IntegrationsManaging integrations
