What this connection is for
A lot of product context already lives in Google Workspace. Choose the services and Gmail query you want, and Specky turns those records into searchable product context without asking you to copy everything into another tool.
Before you start
- A Google Workspace account with access to the Drive, Gmail, Calendar, Docs, or Sheets data you want to use.
- Permission to approve an OAuth connection for your workspace.
- A clear first question or source scope. Start with one service or a narrow Gmail query so the first result is easy to trust.
Connect it
- Open Settings → Integrations.
- Find Google Workspace and click Connect.
- Approve the Google consent screen.
- Select the services you want to enable: Drive, Gmail, Calendar, Docs, or Sheets.
- If Gmail is enabled, add a focused Gmail query rather than syncing every mailbox message.
- Save the settings and run the first sync.
What comes in
- Drive, Docs, and Sheets: searchable document and file context with the source link.
- Gmail: the threads matching the query you chose.
- Calendar: meeting context and event metadata available to product questions.
The exact records available still depend on the Google scopes you approve and the services you enable. Specky does not treat an OAuth grant as permission to read services you left switched off.
What you should see
The first sync creates graph signals and document context in Discovery. Ask a question such as:
“Find the customer emails and meeting notes that explain why enterprise onboarding stalls after security review. Separate direct evidence from inference and link the source documents.”
You should end up with source-linked signals and a reviewable next step — not a second copy of Google Workspace with no product context.
If the first sync is empty
- Check that the relevant service toggle is enabled on the Google Workspace card.
- Narrow or correct the Gmail query.
- Confirm that the approving Google account can open the Drive files or calendars you expect.
- Reconnect if the OAuth grant has expired or been revoked.
